“Why I am on the ELC? I have been inspired by the following quote: “We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect” by Aldo Leopold. The main reason why I joined the ELC is to make a difference. Supporting open green space areas that will remain long after the development has ended is an important issue all Edmond citizens should be cognizant of. Through this support of serving on the ELC, I hope to increase the value and long-term livability of Edmond for current citizens and those of future generations.”
